Caleb Wilson's left hand/wrist was a major concern for UNC fans during the team's loss to Miami on Tuesday night.
With 15 minutes left in the game, Wilson trudged to the locker room. He returned about six minutes later, featuring a heavily-taped hand/wrist. He scored a season-low 12 points, and you can tell that the injury was bothering the Tar Heels' superstar down the stretch. In fact, he sat out the final 1:43 of regulation, a rarity unless UNC is leading by double-digits.
After the game, the media (and fans) awaited an update on Wilson's injury status. However, Hubert Davis' response to the question made it seem like Wilson didn't even suffer an injury!
Okay then...
Hubert Davis' answer to the Caleb Wilson injury question
"There is no situation."
Davis uttered those words in a snarky way when asked about his star players' injury. When a follow-up question asked if the wrap impacted Wilson down the stretch, Davis responded bluntly:
"Not to my knowledge."
See the video below to see how Davis handled the question.

We get it
Coming off a sluggish loss, one in which comes immediately after a win over rival Duke, is frustrating to say the least. However, the way Davis went about answering the questions about Wilson's health is very questionable, as he was responding like he was being interrogated by local authories for a crime he didn't commit.
Everyone, and I mean, everyone noticed that Wilson was hurt. It's not something the Tar Heels could hide: this is the same dude who played nearly 40 minutes against Duke.
When he comes out of the game and heads to the locker room, everyone will be holding their breaths.
All we wanted was some type of response as to what went down. Davis could've easily just stated what he knew. It could've went a little something like this:
"Caleb signaled over to the bench, asking for a sub. He immediately went to Doug (Halverson) to have him take a look at the injury, and both went back into the locker room. They advised he was cleared to return, and he went back in the game, but other than that, I don't have an update at this time."
Would that have been difficult?
Now, the situation is even more uncertain, thanks to Davis' comments on Tuesday night.
