Give his size and skill set on the basketball court, you'd probably assume that Henri Veesaar had at least one double-double under his belt during his college career.
You know what they say, don't ever assume (you all know the rest of the phrase).
Coming into his UNC basketball debut, Veesaar's career-high in rebounds was 9. He never recorded a double-double as a member of the Arizona Wildcats, but that changed on Monday night when he made his UNC basketball debut.
The junior big man scored 14 points and hauled in a career-high 10 rebounds (four of which came on offensive rebounds) while connecting on 6 of his 9 shot attempts from the floor.

Pretty daggum debut for Veesaar, a night he will remember for quite some time.
In a game like Monday's season opener, plenty of guys made strong cases for Player of the Game honors. Freshman Caleb Wilson became the fifth Tar Heel to score 20+ points in their debut with the program, while Kyan Evans did just about everything he could to help his team win.
While both efforts were impressive, Veesaar gets the nod in this one, as this performance gives us a glimpse of what he's capable of as he takes on the responsibility of being a full-time starter for the first time in his college career.
Don't worry-guys like Wilson and Evans will have their moments to shine in the near future, as both will earn Player of the Game honors for their efforts at some point this season (in fact, likely multiple times).
