Hawaii to debut their new uniforms when they host the UNC basketball program
Hawaii is NOT playing around for their big-time matchup with the UNC basketball program!
The Rainbow Warriors will be debuting a new uniform in front of the national audience on Friday night (or Saturday morning if you're watching from the east coast!). While some new uniforms don't necessarily hit the spot, these uniforms are rather impressive.

Now, I wouldn't rate these as a perfect 10, but I would say they are worthy of an 8 or a 9 on the swag scale. Personally, I like how they incorporated Hawaiian like flowers to go along with their green color scheme, as this new uniform combination is one that very much stands out (in a good way).
While the UNC basketball program tends to rely on the classics (or even some throwbacks), they have tested the waters a bit in the past. We all remember the all-black uniforms (ones that we haven't had much success in), and who can forget the camoflauge uniforms for The Carrier Classic back in 2011.
Wouldn't you love to see the Tar Heels reveal some new jerseys for the Maui Invitational? They did release Maui Invitational-inspired shirseys... maybe that's a sign of things to come?
