I'm normally not critical of Hubert Davis... but...
Is it me, or does this team feel like they have no offensive identity?
If I had to sum up the Tar Heels' offensive attack, it would simply be 99% pick-and-roll action with isolation for the "hot hand."
At this level, that ain't gunna fly.
Instead of RJ Davis chucking up shots (which hasn't helped North Carolina one bit), how about we try something new to get open looks? Obviously, the bigs aren't doing the job in the pick-and-roll game, and the guard are simply getting met at the rim by the bigger, more physical opponents.
I personally don't know what the answer is, but it's up to Hubert Davis to figure something out.
