Elliot Cadeau needs to be better

Early on, you could make the case that Elliot Cadeau was the UNC basketball program's best player.

Over the past four games, that hasn't been the case.

If you listen to the Carolina Insider Podcast (which you definitely should), Adam Lucus discusses how Cadeau needs to improve, especially mentally. In Maui, we saw Cadeau let his emotions get the best of him when things didn't go his way, a trait he showcased a good amount during his freshman season.

When Cadeau is on his game, this team will follow. In situations where Cadeau lets his emotions get to him, it's tough for North Carolina to overcome it.

Over the last four games, Cadeau has 18 assists. In that same span, the sophomore guard has turned the ball over 16 times.

The Tar Heels need the version of Elliot Cadeau that we saw to begin the 2024-2025 season in order to turn this thing around.
