Former NC State star taking shots at UNC hoops for no reason is comical

Darrion Williams sure has a ton of hatred for the Tar Heels!

Who hurt Darrion Williams' feelings?!

Williams, who spent one season playing for Will Wade at NC State, a disappointing year for a guy who many thought could challenge for the ACC Player of the Year Award, sure hates the Tar Heels!

Darrion Williams throws random shade UNC's way

Former NC State guard Tre Holloman shared the post below on his Instagram story, featuring his former teammate Matt Able in his new UNC threads. An image, which shows Able alongside Tar Heel newcomers Terrence Brown and Neoklis Avdalas, Holloman was hyping up Able's new squad, sharing the post while adding this note:

"This gon be nasty."

Now, Williams doesn't feel like supporting his former teammates decision to transfer to the better in-state school, posting a rather blunt message about North Carolina.

"F**k UNC."

Harsh man, harsh!

Of course, you get it, given that Williams was brainwashed into the "rivalry" between the two programs. Even though he only spent a few months in Raleigh, Williams sure does hate the Tar Heels, and definitely doesn't hide it at all.

Holloman might hate the Tar Heels, but he doesn't harbor any ill will toward his former teammate for the move to Chapel Hill. Williams, on the other hand, seems rather salty about Able's decision to transfer to North Carolina, as evidenced by his need to post that blunt and rude statement on Holloman's story.

Who knows, maybe Williams is just sour that Hubert Davis and company didn't recruit him heavily as a transfer option. Maybe he's jealous that Able gets to upgrade from NC State to play for one of the most historic programs in all of college basketball.

Now that his college career is over and the check for the money he robbed NC State of has likely been cashed, maybe Williams should move on and figure out his future plans instead of letting UNC live rent-free in his head.
