ESPN set to host live show ahead of Bill Belichick's UNC football debut

The hype is REAL surrounding this major debut on the college football landscape.

All eyes are on Chapel Hill, North Carolina ahead of Bill Belichick's debut with the UNC football program!

Bryan Fisher from Sports Illustrated confirmed some major news, reporting that ESPN is scheduled to host a live show ahead of the Tar Heels' season opener against TCU. Matt Barrie, Tedy Bruschi, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and Pete Thamel are expected to be part of the broadcast team.

The actual game itself will have one of the more prominent broadcasting crews, as Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe will be on the call for the action.

According to the press release from ESPN, the Labor Day special will air live from 7-8 p.m. ET on ESPN from the sidelines of Kenan Stadium.

As if there wasn't already a ton of excitement surrounding the UNC football program, just add more onto it with the media hype that continues to brew more by the day. We know how big of a deal this game is, signifying the start of Bill Belichick's college coaching career, as all eyes are on the UNC football program as they begin this new era.

Chapel Hill will certainly be buzzing on Labor Day Weekend (especially on the day of the actual game), as college football fans around the world are locked in to seeing how this new era of Carolina Football will go.
