ESPN College GameDay crew has no faith in the UNC basketball program

Although it was a smaller panel of analysts, no one has faith that the Tar Heels can pull off the upset.

At the end of the ESPN College GameDay broadcast, the crew provided their picks for some of college basketball's biggest games on the final day of the 2024-2025 regular season.

Of course, Duke/North Carolina was one of those games, as the crew had no faith in the home team leading up to this game. The panel, which featured only three pickers for this week's action, was limited to two for this game because Jay Bilas will be on the call for the ESPN broadcast this evening.

Here are the picks (along with their reasoning) from Jay Williams and Seth Greenberg:

Jay Williams- "North Carolina is playing with their backs against the wall, but this is one of the best Duke teams I've seen in a long time."

Seth Greenberg- Cited the Blue Devils' size and athleticism as being too much for the UNC basketball program to handle.

The good news is: North Carolina has been in this predicament before. There's been quite a few times where no one believed in them leading up to a rivalry game vs. Duke (cough, 2022), but that doesn't seem to matter to the Tar Heels.

All it does is add extra motivation (if there wasn't already enough!)

While most "analysts" will pick the Blue Devils, we'll just have to wait and see what the outcome is later on tonight.

We hope you all keep the receipts just in case!
