Early Trends and Observations through the first 3 games of the 2024-2025 season

We're officially three games into the 2024-2025 college basketball season.

The UNC basketball program has gotten off to a solid start, beginning the young season with a 2-1 record. Of course, that one loss came to No. 1-ranked Kansas on their home floor (one of the toughest places to play in college athletics), but it still is a blemish on the team's early record regardless.

Sure, it's still very early in the season, and the sample size is still rather small (essentially 120 minutes of game action between the three contests). However, there are some observations and trends to discuss, some of which we'll talk about in this post.

Let's start by giving Hubert Davis some credit for something he tried to warn us all about leading up to the start of the 2024-2025 season.
