If you were able to actually be home for the release of EA Sports College Football 26, you probably rushed to the UNC football program's roster to see the new-look squad.
Unfortunately, one of the major components is missing: head coach Bill Belichick.
Deion Sanders and Bill Belichick declined to be in EA Sports College Football 26❌

Belichick, along with Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, declined their invitation to be in the video game. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise, given Belichick was consistently a no-show in the Madden video game series during his tenure as the head coach of the New England Patriots.
While this was obviously the expected outcome, it is still disappointing! I don't know about you, but I was looking forward to potentially seeing Belichick lead the UNC football program onto the field in front of the Kenan Stadium crowd.
While Belichick's absence from the game is annoying, it obviously makes it easier to fire the random coach they made to replace him in the game if things go south!
In case you were wondering: that coach is Hector Luna, who is rated a B+. You can see the image of Luna in the tweet above.
EA Sports College Football 26 is now available for early access. The official launch date of this year's game will be Thursday, July 10.
