The first day of the NFL legal tampering period is typically full of chaos.
As organizations look to make major splashes on what technically serves as the first day of free agency, players around the league aim to do the same.
For Dyami Brown, it didn't take long for him to find a new home, as the former UNC football standout is heading to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Brown has agreed to a one-year, $10 million dollar deal with the Jaguars. He'll head to his new home after spending the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Washington Commanders.
The now 25-year-old became an important piece of the Commanders offense this season, helping the franchise make a run to the NFC Championship game. Over 16 games played, Brown recorded 30 receptions for 308 yards and a touchdown, becoming a top-target for rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Brown was highly effective in the postseason, recording 14 catches for 229 yards and a score. His best outing came in the NFC Divisional Playoffs against the Detroit Lions, as his 6 receptions and 98 yards helped propel the Commanders to an upset victory over the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
Now, Brown will begin the new chapter of his NFL career in Jacksonville. He'll go from catching passes to one of the game's top rookies (Daniels) to being a top target for another one of the league's brightest stars (Trevor Lawrence).
