Through his first three games as a member of the UNC basketball program, Drake Powell has proved that he's insanely athletic.

Powell has flashed this on multiple occasions, especially on the defensive end. On Friday night, the five-star freshman made his presence known defensively, recording three blocks in the Tar Heels blowout victory over American.

His best block of the night was a two-handed one, a dunk you will definitely watch on replay for sure. In case you missed it, here's the clip:

Powell's block was so impressive that even his head coach took note of it. After the game, Hubert Davis spoke to the media about how Powell is capable of doing things that can't be taught on both ends of the floor.

In fact, the two-handed block reminded him of a UNC basketball legend who just so happened to pull something similar off when Davis was teammates with him in the NBA.

"You can use him in a number of different spots on both ends of the floor. He does stuff that we didn't teach him or drill, wasn’t at any station. The block, that's the second time he's done a block where he's caught it with both hands.

Last time I can remember that was MJ doing that when we played together with the Wizards. We were playing the Chicago Bulls, and they were going in for a layup on me. They would have easily scored, because there's no way I was going to do anything. And Michael, at 40, came from nowhere and grabbed it with two hands.

He's just really elite, and he's just starting to scratch the surface of what he can do out there on the floor. And you combine that with the type of character kid he is, he's just — as I said before, he’s always asking, ‘What can I do more? What can I do better?’ Coming from a McDonald's All-American that's rare. That's pretty cool.”

Anytime you can be categorized with the "GOAT" on the basketball court is impressive. Without a doubt, Powell has made his presence known early on in his UNC basketball career and seems to have not even scratched the surface as to just how good he can be.

It's safe to say Tar Heels fans are going to enjoy watching Drake Powell compete on a nightly basis.
