Tell a friend to tell a friend... HE'S BACKKKKKKKK!

Drake Maye heard all the critics. He took the heat for his rough start to the 2026 season. Instead of letting it get to him, the former Tar Heel did what we've seen him do numerous times before.

Bounce back.

Drake Maye shines in major road victory over Buffalo

Maye helped lead the New England Patriots to a huge road victory over the previously unbeaten Buffalo Bills, a game that could be important in the AFC East standings.

Overall, Maye accounted for 322 yards and three touchdowns in the win. He led a game-winning drive, finding Efton Chism in the back corner of the end zone for the deciding score, a highlight-reel play that will definitely be shown plenty of times throughout the week.

Isn't it funny how the critics are eerily silent this afternoon? That's because Drake Maye silenced them, proving to the world that he is still, in fact, an elite-level quarterback.

Everyone goes through struggles, but the great ones always prevail!

Maye picked the perfect time to have a strong performance. Playing against a division opponent in their home stadium (a team many believe is a Super Bowl contender), while outplaying Josh Allen, one of the best quarterbacks the sport has to offer.

Oh, and let's not forget his No. 1 wide receiver is still sidelined!

Maye isn't someone who is going to go through the media to pound his chest. While he easily could've after a win like this, the former Tar Heel showed the humility that he's always carried himself with. He's always the first to talk about his teammates' efforts, giving them as much credit as possible when the team succeeds.

While the world quickly started to turn on him, Drake Maye kept his head down and kept working. He needed a performance like this one, not only to silence the haters, but to remind him that he is an elite-level quarterback and has what it takes to play at this type of level.

We hope all the critics enjoyed their few weeks of fun ripping on Maye, because that is now officially over. The Patriots should thank everyone who's been putting Maye on blast, because they helped wake up the beast in the No. 10 jersey.

Now, we feel bad for anyone who is on the Patriots' schedule moving forward. They now have to face the real Drake Maye, a nightmare for opposing defenses.

Welcome back, Drake. We knew it was only a matter of time before you got back on track!
