Paul Finebaum, a known SEC analyst (lover), had quite the bad weekend in terms of making predictions.
Finebaum made the below statement, one that compared Texas quarterback Arch Manning to Tim Tebow.
If you watched any of the Longhorns season opener, the statement didn't take long to age poorly.
"[Arch Manning] is the best player we have seen from every aspect since Tim Tebow."

Leading up to the UNC football program's season opener against TCU, Finebaum is trying to do one of two things:
- He hopes his prediction for the game helps turn his luck around this weekend, or
-He is simply trying to put a jinx on North Carolina ahead of Bill Belichick's debut.
Considering who he picked to win the game during his appearance on SportsCenter, the hope is that the first option is the one Finebaum is going with:
“Chapel Bill has a big and dramatic victory over TCU."
Finebaum believes that the UNC football program will find a way to defeat TCU in what he termed as a "big and dramatic" victory. It would serve as quite the opening statement for Belichick and the Tar Heels as they begin this new era of Carolina Football.
If the Tar Heels win the game, Finebaum will at least end opening weekend on a positive note. If, by some chance, North Carolina falls to TCU, at least fans of the UNC football program can blame the college football analyst for jinxing the guys in Carolina blue.
