Devontez "Tez" Walker is simply a man on a mission.

The former UNC football standout is heading into his second season in the NFL and is looking to play a much bigger role for the Baltimore Ravens this upcoming season.

So far, the hard work he's put in during the offseason is showing at Ravens camp.

After recording just three catches last season (one for a score), Walker has emerged as one of the most improved Ravens heading into the new season.

When you have a star quarterback like Lamar Jackson, you want to surround him with a good wide receiver core to work with. If Walker can emerge as a consistent weapon, the Ravens offense will definitely benefit, especially given his ability to stretch the field with his speed and playmaking ability.

Check out some of the catches Walker hauled in during a recent training camp practice.

Walker only played in eight games during his brief stint with the UNC football program, but you'd be remiss to not mention how impactful he was during that time. He recorded 41 receptions for 699 yards and seven touchdowns, as North Carolina's offense was drastically better when he was on the field.

It didn't take long for NFL scouts to see what he could do, leading to him being drafted following his lone season in Chapel Hill.

Now with a year of NFL experience under his belt, Walker has taken the knowledge he's collected and has put himself in a position to improve his game overall. You can tell that he's more prepared for what training camp has to offer, looking to make the most of every rep he gets and every pass that's thrown his way.

We're telling you now, don't be shocked if Tez Walker is one of the breakout stars in the NFL this upcoming season.
