Day'Ron Sharpe is set to be a restricted free agent this summer.

The former UNC basketball standout is making a very strong case that the Brooklyn Nets should not let him leave for another team.

Sharpe's latest outing was a dominant one. On Wednesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Sharpe did a little bit of everything over his 31 minutes of action. He finished the night with 25 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals.

Talk about making an impact on both ends of the floor!

To add to that, he was insanely efficient offensively. The former Tar Heel knocked down eight of his 10 shots from the floor, including all seven of his free throw attempts. While some might say that Sharpe, who was known as more of a post player during his short stint in Chapel Hill, might have an advantage due to his typical shot selection, the big man drained two of his three shots from beyond the arc, an element to his game that should benefit him greatly moving forward.

The crazy thing is: Day'Ron Sharpe is still only 23-years-old. This dude probably hasn't even scratched the surface of how good he can be as his NBA career progresses.

Teams are always looking for quality big men who can make an impact on both ends of the floor. Sharpe has a high motor and is an elite rebounder, but to his credit has become a very strong force offensively as well.

Adding the ability to knock down shots from beyond-the-arc will only add to his already rising value.

Needless to say, there will be plenty of suitors for Sharpe's services this summer. The Brooklyn Nets, who are in a rebuilding mode, should do everything in their power to keep him around for the forseeable future.

Sharpe is a guy who definitely can help a team get back on the winning track.
