If you're a fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels, Kelly Flagg believes that you're a "classless a-hole."
Yup, that's right.
The mom of Cooper Flagg was seen on national television using some choice words following her son's dunk late in the game. While her and her husband were tapping on their heads (as to say Cooper dunked on someone, which he quite frankly didn't), Kelly Flagg was seen cursing, an action she took to social media to apologize for.
Her apology is quite something, as she essentially bashes the entire North Carolina fan base in the process.

Before I get deeper into it: I wholeheartedly agree that some people take it way too far in sports rivalries. Families shouldn't be ridiculed when they go to watch their kids play a sport, and that is not right on any levels.
However, to say that it's simply one-sided is quite the take.
Unless Duke provided the Flagg family with noise cancelling headphones for the game at Durham, there's no way that they didn't hear the horrible things chanted toward the North Carolina players. Let's remember: YOUR fan base is the one that leak's player's phone numbers, make "chant sheets" that basically ridicule players for a wide range of things and, oh yeah, there's videos of some of these things, just search on social media for them.
Our world in itself stereotypes people way too much. How would you like it if we called all Duke fans "Classless a-holes?" Pretty sure we'd get a rant like the one you provided if one of ours said that about you.
Just because you had a "bad experience" with some "fans" doesn't mean the whole fan base is like that.
Besides, I could care less that you celebrated when your kid dunked. You were enjoying the moment- you won the game, do what you want.
But please, refrain from calling out an entire fan base for no reason. If you think we're all "classless a-holes," your fan base would certainly classify as the same, if not worse.
