Well, Bruce Feldman had no issues letting the world know how he feels about the Michael Lombardi situation at UNC!
For those who missed the news: Lombardi was placed on paid administrative leave by the University of North Carolina, reportedly due to an HR complaint.
Just when we all thought the circus of the UNC football program couldn't get worse!
As expected, Lombardi and the Tar Heels have been the talk of the town since, as the embarrassment of the Bill Belichick era, which hasn't even started year two yet, already has fans wanting it to end.
The national media has been ripping the UNC football program as well, as Feldman spoke his mind about the situation on a recent episode of The Audible.

Feldman, a reporter for The Athletic, let it rip over the latest incident involving Lombardi.
"He (Lombardi) should be getting his paycheck with a ski mask on," Feldman said. "I'm sorry. This is such a staggering amount of ineptitude in the job he's done for Bill Belichick."

Feldman's criticism didn't stop there, citing how, in the past, Lombardi's personality, mostly the negative traits, has taken center stage everywhere he's been employed. He cites arrogance and abrasiveness as two of those characteristics that have rubbed people the wrong way over the years.
He went on to discuss how Belichick has been extremely loyal to him, noting how it not only is mind boggling, but is something that continues to backfire for the former six-time Super Bowl winning head coach.
"Bill Belichick has been one of the people who's always been in his corner," Feldman added. "The fact that Bill Belichick trusted him to have the most important job of anybody he could hire—and it has blown up in his face and North Carolina's face—spectacularly."
Feldman admitted he was surprised to hear the latest news from Chapel Hill regarding Lombardi. However, he did add that it shouldn't be all that surprising based on his track record.
This whole situation is an absolute nightmare for the UNC football program. While the focus should be on the season opener, which is essentially a month away, now the off-the-field issues continue to haunt a program that doesn't need any more distractions.
After a brutal first season with this regime, the staff simply can't get out of its own way. From the Belichick/Jordon Hudson tabloid garbage to the latest issues surrounding Lombardi, the headaches are getting to be annoying, especially after a season that was extremely frustrating to watch.
At what point is the focus going to be solely on football, and is this staff, from Lombardi to Belichick to everyone else that was brought in with this crew, capable of actually creating an environment where the actual sport is at the forefront?
If not, at what point does the university decide it's time to chalk this up as a total failure and move on before it gets even worse?
