To no surprise, Caleb Wilson has been spending a lot of time in the gym.

Ahead of his rookie season in the NBA, the No. 4 overall pick in this year's draft class is doing everything he can to ensure he's ready to go come opening night. Of course, Wilson has made some time for fun, including going to some Chicago baseball games while also returning home to Chapel Hill for alumni weekend, but his main focus continues to be on improving his game to be an even better version of himself.

What better way to do that than to train with the best?

Caleb Wilson works out with one of the best NBA players ever

On social media, the former Tar Heel shared a photo of him with NBA legend LeBron James, confirming that the two Klutch clients worked out together.

Before you even ask: no, we're not here to have the "who is the G.O.A.T?" conversation. However, it's not a bad thing to respect greatness, especially when it benefits a former Tar Heel.

Leading up to his incredible 24th season in the NBA, James is gearing up for his fresh start with the Philadelphia 76ers. Wilson, who is approximately 21 years younger than James, is set to play out his rookie season with the Chicago Bulls.

Both are in very different spots in their careers, but working out together could be beneficial for both.

It's safe to say Wilson watched James play basketball growing up, so having this opportunity is a full-circle type of moment for the former Tar Heel. Not everyone has the chance to workout with one of the greatest to ever step on a basketball court, an opportunity that allowed Wilson to not only observe how he goes about his business, but also pick his brain on a variety of topics.

You never know, maybe by the time LeBron decides to retire (which could be 10 years from now based on how he continues to own "Father Time"), Wilson may be ready to take over as the new face of the NBA, becoming the next big star to dominate the court.

If that is manifested into reality, the workout photo shared by Wilson on his social media pages will definitely be shown about one million more times throughout his playing career.

James has seen it all (literally) throughout his NBA career, and there aren't many players who are better suited to groom the future of the league than he is. It's cool to see moments like this happen, showing the type of brotherhood the basketball world possesses.

Just as LeBron speaks about Kobe Bryant and how the "Black Mamba" idolized Michael Jordan, there's always a player or two who ends up being the driving force behind a future star's success. Hopefully in 20 years, Wilson will be in a similar position as James is currently, being able to use his knowledge and wisdom to the next wave of players who he inspired throughout their respective basketball journeys.
