Caleb Wilson is simply in a league of his own.
The freshman forward continues to etch his name into the UNC basketball record books, setting him apart from the rest in this particular category.
Move over, Phil Ford
With the legendary Phil Ford in attendance, Caleb Wilson recorded his sixth-consecutive 20+ point game. Coming into the conference opener against Florida State, Wilson was tied with Ford for the most consecutive 20+ scoring performances by a true freshman, but now, Wilson stands atop the list alone.

Another outstanding overall performance
While his scoring output often takes the limelight, you can't forget everything else he does to impact the game. The freshman forward finished with 22 points, 16 rebounds, six assists and a pair of blocks, and some of his best players were ones that didn't show up in the box score.
If you saw his hustle for a loose ball to help save a possession, you've witnessed first-hand just how much effort he gives on each and every play.
Historic
Just 14 games into his UNC basketball career, Caleb Wilson is building a legendary resume. There have been plenty of legendary players who have called Chapel Hill home, but Wilson continues to do things that we've never seen from a Tar Heel, especially coming from a freshman.
We are witnessing greatness right in front of us, as Caleb Wilson keeps finding ways to wow us all with his incredible skill set on the basketball court. Whether he's throwing down massive dunks or looking like a true point guard running in transition, Wilson does things that not many can match, as the UNC basketball program is lucky to have such a special player on its roster.
Now, the question remains, how long can Wilson extend the scoring streak as he aims to firmly separate himself on the list?!
