Caleb Wilson is now a member of the Chicago Bulls, but he'll always be a Tar Heel.
The No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft continues to prove he is proud to call Chapel Hill home, making sure everyone remembers where his college career took place.
On his first NBA Media Day, Wilson made sure that his Carolina pride showed through.

"I'm wearing the Heels shirt, always. Go Heels!"
Nice little shoutout from Wilson!
Watching him go through the media day festivities is simply heartwarming. It's a friendly reminder of how he is 20-years-old and is living out his dream, one that even he seems to still be grasping as his rookie season in the NBA quickly approaches. While being the best at his sport is his goal, Wilson also wants to show the world that he's genuinely a good person, which Tar Heel fans already know about him.
Hubert Davis didn't say that Wilson would win if he ran for student body president for no reason. This dude is legitimately a fan favorite, and it's easy to understand why.
If they haven't recognized it yet, Bulls fans will quickly grow to love him as well.
How many rookies would leave a press conference with the media and say, "I hope they think I'm a cool kid." Heck, some don't even want to be bothered by the media, but here Wilson is, showing his maturity beyond his years.
Just like he did in Chapel Hill, the media will get some epic quotes from him throughout his time in Chicago!
Seeing Wilson live out his dream with a huge smile on his face is simply heartwarming. What makes it even better is his love for UNC, which he proudly shows whenever he can.
Caleb Wilson is truly one of one, and we're not just talking about the type of player he is on the basketball court. Wilson is a special individual, one who we are very lucky to have as part of the Carolina family.
