This would be both good and bad for Wilson.

Yes, all eyes are on Michael Malone and UNC to make some head-turning moves in trying to fill out the roster. However, that doesn't mean we've forgotten about the upcoming NBA Draft, as countless eyes are going to be on Caleb Wilson and others.

Jerry Stackhouse gives Michael Malone respect, but calls out UNC at the same time

For Wilson, he's not going to be waiting long to hear his name called, as all signs are pointing to him being a Top 5 pick. However, could he potentially sneak into the Top 3? That's what 247Sports' Adam Finkelstein has on his mind, as he recently brought up the idea of Memphis making a move to grab the Tar Heels' standout. How would the Carolina faithful feel about this?

UNC's Caleb Wilson has what it takes to be a Top 3 pick in the NBA Draft

Obviously, a lot would have to happen here, as we're still waiting on the results of the NBA Draft lottery. Then, we may have a better idea of where Wilson could end up. However, say he does move to Memphis, it'd be exciting on one side because the Grizzlies are such a young team with so much potential.

On the flip side, though, Memphis has been through some lean seasons of late and they're coming off a 25-57 campaign. Clearly, they are in a bit of a rebuild, which is where someone like Wilson could come in and make a head-turning impact. With that, we'd have to be patient to see him have success with his new team at the next level.

Again, there's a lot that needs to go down for this idea to come to fruition, but there's no doubt in our minds that Wilson is deserving of being a Top 3 pick. Will general managers in the league agree with that assessment? Maybe, but there's been a lot of discussion about AJ Dybantasa, Darryn Peterson and Cameron Boozer being the best three prospects for this class.

Could Peterson's injury concerns cause for a bit of a slide, leading to Wilson being the next man up there? That's also up in the air. Regardless, once the draft gets here in June, Wilson is going to make a lot of fans happy wherever he ends up, and plenty of people in Chapel Hill will be wishing him the absolute best as he gets ready to make everyone proud from the moment he takes the stage at the draft.
