We've heard some updates regarding Caleb Wilson's hand fracture, but we just quite haven't been told a timetable for his return to action.
Well, that changed rather shockingly when the ESPN broadcast crew revealed an interesting note about when we might see Wilson suit up again for North Carolina.
Caleb Wilson has a set return date in mind
Wilson spoke to Dave O'Brien and Jay Williams before Monday night's game against Louisville, and the topic of his return came up in conversation. The future NBA Draft lottery pick expects to be back by a certain date, one that shouldn't surprise anyone.
He has all intentions of being back on the court when North Carolina makes the trip down Tobacco Road to take on Duke on March 7.

This is far from a surprise
Caleb Wilson has been fully invested in the UNC basketball program since arriving on campus. Although his time in Chapel Hill will likely be short (due to him heading to the pros), Wilson is making sure that he is soaking in every single minute of his time at the college ranks.
After leading the Tar Heels to a victory over rival Duke at home, you KNOW that Wilson doesn't want to miss his lone opportunity to play at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
There's still some hurdles to clear
Wilson will have additional imaging this week to assess how his injured hand has progressed. While Wilson's goal of being available for Duke is one we all hope to be true, the imaging done will play a huge role in determining whether that is a reality or not.
Based on what we've seen from Wilson this year, he has truly been a man of his word. If possible, Wilson will not miss the opportunity to not only be back for the final game of the regular season, but to be back on the court to hopefully help the Tar Heels make a deep postseason run.
Caleb Wilson has his latest form of motivation: a calendar date for when he aims to be back in action.
