With College GameDay in Durham for the blockbuster showdown between UNC and Duke, people can’t wait for the action to arrive. Way ahead of tip-off, however, heads were turned when some Blue Devils fans decided to troll Caleb Wilson over his season-ending injury.

ESPN's update on the Caleb Wilson injury makes things even more deflating for UNC

Come on. Unfortunately, that was the case, which was disappointing to see. As it turns out, Wilson also saw some of those signs displayed and you’ve got to figure he was pretty annoyed. Well, he has decided to clap back at the Duke haters in the best way possible, reminding everyone of what happened the last time the two sides faced off:

Tell us how you really feel, Caleb. That photo above showcases the North Carolina locker room celebrating the stunning upset win the Tar Heels posted over the Blue Devils in early February. It was a wild finish, with Seth Trimble burying a 3-pointer to win it

That’s a game Tar Heels supporters everywhere are still celebrating, as it indeed was an unforgettable victory. For Wilson, it’s also going to serve as one of the best memories he had in Chapel Hill, as all signs are pointing to him leaving campus in the near future.

Plenty of people are begging the freshman sensation to come back for one more year, but the fact of the matter here is that Wilson is projected to be a Top 5 pick in the draft this June. He’s got a bright future in the NBA and he has hinted he’s ready to say goodbye to UNC.

It’s a major bummer that his Carolina playing days ended with multiple injuries, but it doesn’t take away a thing from the history he was able to make while on campus. In terms of playing against Duke, he’s 1-0 for his career and he can always say he was undefeated vs. the Blue Devils in college. That's something you know he's going to cherish quite a bit too.
