Bill Belichick is out and about on the recruiting trail!

The UNC football program's leader was in Northern New Jersey on Thursday, visiting some of the elite programs that the area has to offer.

Belichick began the day at Bergen Catholic in Oradell, New Jersey. For those unfamiliar with New Jersey high school football, the Crusaders, led by head coach Vito Campanile, have won four consecutive state championships in one of the country's toughest conferences.

Belichick extended multiple scholarship offers during his trip to Oradell Avenue, including the following players:

Class of 2026:
Najee Calhoun: Three-star running back
Jermaine Kinsler: Four-star defensive lineman
CJ Edwards: Defensive lineman
Jordan Thomas: Four-star defensive back

Class of 2027:
Bryan Porter- wide receiver

After his trip to Bergen Catholic, Belichick proceeded up the road to Montvale to visit Augie Hoffmann and the Green Knights at Saint Joseph Regional High School.

While visiting the home of Devin and Jason McCourty, both of whom played for Belichick with the New England Patriots, Belichick extended offers to a handful of Green Knights:

Class of 2027:
Jonathan Galette- athlete
Chaz Gray- athlete

Class of 2028:
Tahj Gray- Linebacker

Belichick wasn't done, as his next stop took him to Wayne, New Jersey where he would meet another Campanile along the way.

DePaul Catholic, led by Nick Campanile, the brother of Vito, also received a visit from the Tar Heels head coach, as Belichick had a few more offers to extend during his day in North Jersey:

Class of 2026:
Marlen Bright- Three-star Offensive Lineman
Derek Zammit- Four-star Quarterback

Needless to say, it was a busy, yet productive, day for Bill Belichick as he started his journey in recruiting one of the best areas of football talent that the country has to offer. Now, it will be interesting to see if Belichick and his crew can lure some of New Jersey (particularly North Jersey's) best talent to Chapel Hill over the next couple of years.
