Austin Rivers must be bored now that he isn't robbing money from NBA teams due to his dad's last name!

The former Duke Blue Devil was live on his Instagram account and just couldn't resist talking about UNC. One of the biggest clowns Duke has had in quite some time, the now 34-year-old is living off the past, using the one lucky shot he hit against North Carolina as his claim to fame.

Let's discuss what Rivers had to say during his comical rant.

Austin Rivers: "Why the hell would you go to Carolina?"

The son of Doc Rivers, someone who actually accomplished something in the NBA, Rivers thought he was clowning the Tar Heels when he asked what his favorite Duke moment was.

Check out the video and transcript below to hear everything Rivers had to say:

"My favorite Duke moment? You know what that is. Putting that weak-a** baby blue team to misery. F*****g sorry a** Carolina.

They don't recruit anybody. Nobody goes there besides Caleb Wilson. I mean, they got him, but we get like those every year. Why the hell would you go to Carolina, respectfully? Just being honest. If you go there, you end up going for like four years in college. Caleb Wilson's like the first one and done they've had in like a decade.

Harrison Barnes was like the closest thing we had to Kobe Bryant in high school. He didn't even go one and done. He had to go to two years. I don't know why people go to that school.

I'm not even saying that to being Duke biased. It's just, there's no reason."

First things first, good for you pal, you beat UNC! Want to discuss what happened exactly 24 days later in Durham?

Didn't think so.

If we're talking about recruiting, sure, UNC hasn't landed the top-flight guys on the high school recruiting trail.

HOWEVER.

Since you want to bring that up, what's the point of landing the top recruits if you can't win with them? Is that so they learn how to lose before going to the NBA where they won't win a title either?

Before you start bashing Harrison Barnes for his decision to stay in college for two years, it worked out pretty well for him if you ask us. Are you jealous he actually liked his school and wanted to be there, unlike you who ran out the door in Durham before people realized you were destined to not be good at all in the pros?

Also- going to college and getting a degree isn't a bad thing. It's always smart to have a backup plan, we don't all have a rich dad that can afford to take care of you if needed (but don't worry, he made sure you earned your own money in the league so he wouldn't have to).

Listen, man, we get it. You're reliving your "glory days." Although, there's not much "glory" in losing to Lehigh in the Round of 64 of the NCAA Tournament.

While you question why people go to UNC, you should look at your own school and wonder why players still go to Duke. Let's face it: the semesterhood is just a pitstop for these guys, as they could feature a roster as good as the 1996 Chicago Bulls and still find a way to choke when it matters.

Word of advice, stop throwing shade UNC's way. Not that anyone cares what you have to say (yes, we all mute the television when you're working in another cushy job that Doc helped you land), but maybe, just maybe, you should look at the big picture before spewing your nonsense.

Oh yeah, before we forget, going live on Instagram is for teenagers. grow up!
