This debate has been going on for a long time now, and finally, one media outlet truly got it right. In any sport, there is always going to be the GOAT, the greatest of all time, debate, and when it comes to the NBA, it is clear who the top two candidates are, and it should be clear who the winner is.

For years now, there has been a debate on whether or not NBA star LeBron James has dethroned Michael Jordan as the NBA GOAT. Well, in Bleacher Report's Top 100 NBA players of all-time list, they picked a winner, and this time it wasn't James, but Jordan on top yet again, right where he belongs.

James has had an amazing career, there is no denying that. he has won four NBA titles, is a 4-time NBA MVP, a 4-time NBA Finals MVP, a 21-time NBA All-Star, a 21-time All-NBA Team mention, a 6-time All-Defense, has one scoring title, one assist title, a a Rookie of the Year Trophy. That is a lot for a player to accomplish, and he has done that with three different teams, winning a championship with each.

In 22 seasons, James has done a lot, and it seems like the end could be nearing for the NBA legend, and while all of those stats are amazing, he still doesn't quite beat out Jordan.

Jordan won six NBA titles, was a 5-time NBA MVP, a 6-time NBA Finals MVP, a 14-time NBA All-Star, an 11-time All-NBA Team mention, a 9-time All-Defense member, won Defensive Player of the Year, NBA Rookie of the Year, and 10 scoring titles. Not only did Jordan do all of that, but he did it all in just 15 seasons, less time than James, and he also even took a break to go play in the MLB.

It should also be mentioned that Jordan did this in a time when things weren't quite as easy in the NBA as they are now. There is no denying James' talent and amazing basketball career; he certainly has made a run for the GOAT title, but it certainly isn't his and probably never will be. Jordan will always be on top.
