Armando Bacot dominates in latest G-League game for the Memphis Hustle
Armando Bacot is BALLIN in the NBA G-League!
The former UNC basketball star put together an offensive display on Wednesday night, scoring a career-high 25 points in the Memphis Hustle's victory over the Capitanes.
If you've been keeping up with Bacot's early journey in the pros, you've seen the former Tar Heel expand his game. Not only is he stretching the floor, knocking down shots from three-point range but is doing some of the things that made him elite during his time at North Carolina.
Just take a look at this clip, one where Bacot helps trap the ball handler for a steal, ultimately resulting in a reverse slam from the big man.
Through 13 games, Bacot is averaging 13.8 points to go along with 9.2 rebounds per-game. He's connected on 44.4% of his shot attempts, which is very impressive given he's taking shots that he rarely took during his five seasons in Chapel Hill.
Bacot is adjusting well to the professional game. If he continues to play at this level, it might not be long before he gets an opportunity to compete on an NBA roster.
With that goal in mind, Armando Bacot will continue to ball out, just like he did while he was a member of the UNC basketball program.
