PUT SOME RESPECT ON THIS MAN'S NAME!

Armando Bacot has been absolutely ballin' in the NBA G-League. His latest outing was a 35-point, 14-rebound performance, marking his highest scoring output of his early professional career. As he did plenty of times as a member of the UNC basketball program, Bacot has 13 double-doubles up to this point in the season for the Memphis Hustle.

Bacot has been proving that he's more than just an interior presence. His ability to knock down shots from outside the paint have shown the evolution in his game, as many said the skill keeping him out of the league was his ability to shoot the basketball at an efficient level.

With plenty of teams (especially contenders) needing frontcourt help, the question remains:

Why is Armando Bacot still in the G-League?

We could sit here for a while naming teams who could use a player like Bacot on their roster. Two just happened to make a major trade that absolutely stunned the league.

One of those teams is currently dealing with various injuries (cough, Dallas) while the other (cough, Los Angeles Lakers) had a trade deadline deal for former Duke big man Mark Williams fall through due to medicals.

Those are just two of the teams that make a ton of sense!

It's time for NBA executives to wake up and give this man an opportunity. He dominated at the college level and is following that up by playing at an extremely high level in the G-League.

Now, let's see what this guy can do in the NBA. He's earned the opportunity to showcase his talents.
