The UNC basketball program hosted another Class of 2026 recruiting target that they hope to see wearing Carolina Blue a year from now.
Cameron Holmes, a Goodyear, Arizona native, shared photos on social media of his official visit to Chapel Hill. Some of the photos from his visit can be found below:

It's common for recruits to share photos from their official visits. Not only is it a proud moment for a student-athlete, but it also sparks the particular school's fan base to actively help in the recruiting efforts.
While the UNC basketball program doesn't yet have a commitment from the Class of 2026, you can start to identify which recruiting targets have serious interest in the Tar Heels. Based on his interview with Inside Carolina (which you can read below by subscribing), it seems like Holmes really enjoyed his time in Chapel Hill, giving it a "five out of five" rating.

If that isn't enough to prove the strong mutual interest, let's take you back to a quote Holmes made in an interview with ZagsBlog:
“Hubert Davis is a great coach. He’s more of the one that’s down-to-earth. He’ll tell you what you need to hear and he’ll tell you it in a good way. But I love North Carolina. I’ve always been a fan of North Carolina since I was young, seeing their championship runs and all their March Madness runs. Yeah, it’s just a great school.”
Holmes does have four more visits currently on his schedule: Oklahoma (October 3), Texas (October 31), Gonzaga (November 11) and Arizona (December 5). Don't be surprised if his announcement comes sometime in mid-December/early January once all of his official visits wrap up.
For now, the Tar Heels made a very strong impression, hopefully one that has convinced Holmes already that he belongs in Chapel Hill.
