On Saturday afternoon, Alyssa Ustby became the UNC women's basketball program's all-time leading rebounder. She surpassed the legendary Charlotte Smith as the program's all-time leader.
Below is the record-breaking rebound, one that will remind Tar Heel fans of just how active she is on the glass on both ends of the floor.
The bucket and now Carolina's ALL-TIME leading rebounder.

Following an Indya Nivar missed layup, Ustby was there to clean up the glass. To add to it, Ustby followed by making a layup of her own, as all of Tar Heel faithful made sure they celebrated her accomplishment with a very loud ovation.
Of course, the UNC women's basketball program had one of their famous locker room celebrations after the game as well!

While her time at North Carolina will come to an end over the next few weeks, her legacy that she built will never be forgotten. Fans of the program got to see first-hand just how much she loves the sport and the university as a whole, as there's simply no player in the entire country that plays with the type of motor and hustle that Ustby displays every single time she's out on the court.
Let's not forget: she also injured her knee just a few weeks ago, and while other players wouldn't have been able to finish out the position, Ustby rehabbed and worked her tail off to ensure that she was back to help her team on their postseason run.
The record is a tremendous honor and is well-deserved, as it now serves as another reminder of just how outstanding of a career Alyssa Ustby has had wearing the Carolina Blue uniform.
