The 47th annual 2025 Ally ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament will occur this week from Wednesday, March 5, through Sunday, March 9 at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
With the expansion of the Atlantic Coast Conference, the tournament will feature 15 of the 18 ACC teams. The bottom three teams in the conference standings did not qualify for this year's tournament. There will be 14 games, beginning with three first-round matchups on Wednesday.
The action gets underway on Wednesday with three first-round matchups. Four second-round games are scheduled on Thursday, followed by the quarterfinals on Friday, March 7, semifinals on Saturday, and the championship game on Sunday afternoon.
NC State and Notre Dame tied for the conference's top spot with identical 16-2 records, but its the Wolfpack who have earned the No. 1 seed in this year's tournament due to their head-to-head victory over the fighting Irish. The UNC women's basketball program is the No. 5 seed and will begin their ACC Tournament run on Thursday morning.
