One of the new rules that the Atlantic Coast Conference implemented for this year is for program's to provide an injury update before every conference matchup in football and basketball (both men's and women's).

The UNC women's basketball program gets ACC play fully underway on Monday night in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, when they take on the host Boston College Eagles. It will be the final time the Tar Heels take the court during the 2025 calendar year.

Ahead of the matchup, both teams revealed their latest injury updates, and at least one side will be pleased with the information.

North Carolina's injury update

Based on the initial ACC availability report, the UNC women's basketball program has no one listed. This should indicate that everyone should be available on Monday night.

Lanie Grant missed the UNC women's basketball program's last game due to illness, but it appears that she is back to full strength. Given some of the injury concerns early on in the season, it's very encouraging to see this report as conference play ramps up.

Boston College's injury update

Boston College's report isn't as encouraging as North Carolina's.

Three players have officially been ruled out for Monday night's game: Kiera Edmonds, Kennedy Hall and Eleanor Trout. While none of the trio have played a significant amount this season, the absence of depth is something to keep an eye on for the Eagles not only in this game, but moving forward.

Additionally, three players are listed as probable: Ava McGee, Lily Carmody and Kaia Henderson. Carmody, the Eagles' leading scorer, did not play in their loss to Northeastern on December 19, but the 10 days off has seemed to bode well for the sophomore guard as she aims to return to action.
