Caleb Wilson has a strong case to be considered the coolest guy on campus in Chapel Hill.
The five-star freshman shared a photo on his Instagram story of him alongside Mr. Beast, one that former Keeping It Heel writer and now SI Associate Beat Writer Jeremiah Artacho shared on X.

In case you're unfamiliar with who Mr. Beast is, he's essentially an internet sensation. Rising to stardom on YouTube, Mr. Beast, who is legally known as James Stephen Donaldson, has over 442 million subscribers, making him the most subscribed channel on the platform. Not only is he a huge hit on YouTube but has thrived on TikTok as well, garnering over 119.3 million followers.
Mr. Beast grew up in Greenville, North Carolina and attended East Carolina for a brief period of time. While he doesn't have any known connections to North Carolina (or even the UNC basketball program), the picture above shows him wearing some Carolina shorts.
Maybe Mr. Beast was on campus to do some type of collaboration with Wilson?
As Mr. Beast has risen to stardom, Wilson is on that same path in his own career. Heading into his freshman season with the UNC basketball program, many expect him to be a "one-and-done" talent, making his way to the NBA in just a few short months.
In the meantime, Wilson is enjoying his time in Chapel Hill and has spent some time with some really cool people and done some awesome things thus far.
Hopefully, more memorable moments are on the way for Wilson, both on and off the court.
