Talia Goodman of Rivals revealed that Vukosa has scheduled three visits thus far. The 6-foot-4 center from Middle Village, New York has officially locked in visit dates to Ohio State, Texas and North Carolina, with trips to her other finalists (Kentucky, LSU, Ohio State and UConn) in the process of being scheduled.
Vukosa is a consensus top-five rated player in her graduating class. She comes in at No. 3 overall in ESPN SportsCenter Next 100 latest ratings, while 247Sports Composite tabs her as the fifth-best player in this class.
Her list of finalists should tell you the tale of just how good thing prospect is!
Brandon Clay, the Director of Scouting for women's basketball at 247Sports, raved about her game in his evaluation:
"Vukosa has a polished skill set for an interior player. Her game and style of play are different from any other interior prospect in high school basketball this upcoming season. Vukosa is not afraid to step out and shoot the jumper with consistent range to the 3-point line given her age. She can turn over either shoulder to post and score. At this stage in her game, she appears to be comfortable both with her back to the basket and facing up."
The rising senior is looking for a family environment at her future college, something that Courtney Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program is elite at. There's no question that there's a special culture in Chapel Hill, as the women's basketball team has developed into a close-knit family.
Seems like Chapel Hill offers Vukosa the best of both worlds: playing for a program that continues to rise while also featuring an amazing atmosphere and culture.
When she arrives on campus in late October for her official visit, it's certain that it won't take long for her to see that first-hand.
