A big day on the recruiting trail is approaching for Courtney Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program.

According to Dushawn London of 247Sports, five-star point guard Autumn Fleary will be taking an official visit to North Carolina on June 27. This won't be the first time she's on campus, as she previously made an unofficial visit to Chapel Hill last July.

Fleary is one of the best prospects the Class of 2026 has to offer, as she's viewed as a consensus top-20 overall caliber player. The Washington, DC native ranks as 247Sports' No. 11 overall prospect, while ESPN HoopgGurlz views her as the 14th best player in the class.

Back in October, Fleary released her top 12 schools, one that was heavily headlined by ACC programs. Along with North Carolina, Duke, Notre Dame, Clemson, Arizona, TCU, UCLA, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Florida, Miami and Maryland are the other teams still in the mix, as Fleary hasn't narrowed down her list up to this point in time.

Following her visit to North Carolina, we could get an update on her recruitment, one that could potentially include a commitment date.

While the 2026 standouts will be heading to college campuses this time next year, their recruitments are just starting to heat up. In fact, only three of ESPN HoopGurlz's top 20 prospects have commited thus far, none of which come from the top 10.

Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program have their eyes set on a handful of these star-studded talents, as the hope is that the Tar Heels can continue upon their recruiting success to put together yet another very talented group of incoming freshman to bolster the 2026-2027 roster.
