After recently revealing his Top 8 schools that remain in the mix for his recruitment, four-star wing Cole Cloer also made it known that he'll be spending his senior season of high school at IMG Academy.

The UNC basketball program has been heavily recruiting Cloer for quite some time and are making a strong push to land his services. Although he's heading to Florida to wrap up high school career, the Tar Heels believe that they can bring him back to his home state to begin his college career.

Cloer spoke to Sam Lance of Zags Blog about his remaining finalists, having some great things to say about the UNC basketball program:

“North Carolina has probably been recruiting me the longest out of any of these schools. And it’s North Carolina. It’s one of the most historic programs in the country. It’s one of the best teams in the country every single year. They have been like that for 60 years. Coach Hubert Davis, I love coach Hubert. I’ve gotten to know him a lot. Coach [Jeff] Lebo, coach [Sean] May. I’ve gotten to know Marcus [Paige] a lot. They’ve made me a priority since going into my sophomore year, and they’re continuing to make me a priority now, which says a lot. It’s 35 minutes away. So it’s close.”

Based on his comments, Cloer confirmed that North Carolina has been recruiting him as a priority for quite some time, and that sentiment hasn't changed one bit. The relationships being built with Cloer appear to be strong, as the whole coaching staff has taken a increased interest in this in-state talent.

Now, that doesn't always result in recruiting victories, but in terms of laying it all out on the line, Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program aren't playing games when it comes to this particular recruitment.

The Tar Heels have made Cole Cloer a top priority and are doing everything they can to convince him to call Chapel Hill his future home.
