With the 2025 recruiting class set to make their way to their respective campuses in the very near future, the sole attention now turns to the Class of 2026.
The UNC basketball program has shown interest in a handful of 2026 talents, including five-star forward Toni Bryant. It seems that the interest is mutual, as Bryant has scheduled an official visit to North Carolina at the beginning of the fall.
Joe Tipton of On3 provided the details, noting that Bryant is scheduled to be in Chapel Hill on September 1.
Regarded by 247Sports as a top-10 prospect in this class, Bryant has put together quite the resume thus far in his high school career.
A Zephyrhills, Florida native, Bryant is ranked as the No. 10 overall prospect in his graduating class (according to 247Sports). He is viewed as the top available prospect from Florida and is also regarded as a top-three forward.
For North Tampa Christian High School, Bryant has been a force to be reckoned with. This past season, the 6-foot-9 forward averaged 21.4 points, 11.8 rebounds, and a staggering 6.7 blocks per game. If that didn't impress you enough, he's knocked down 67% of his shot attempts from the floor, including 43% from beyond the arc.
Sounds like a forward who would fit very nicely in Hubert Davis' system!
The Tar Heels officially jumped into the mix on February 18 when they extended an offer his way, and are showing no signs of slowing down in terms of recruiting this very talented student-athlete. After putting together a three player 2025 class, the UNC basketball aims to add an even better recruiting haul in 2026, a group that certainly would be better if Bryant elects to call Chapel Hill his future home.
