UNC Football offers pair of Class of 2026 quarterbacks
Mack Brown and the UNC football program have been very busy recruiting quarterback prospects from the Class of 2026.
The UNC football program is not wasting any time looking for the potential quarterback of the future.
On Friday, the program extended two offers to Class of 2026 standout signal-callers.
The first announcement came from Noah Grubbs, a Lake Mary, Florida native. According to the QB Hit List, Grubbs ranks as the No. 6 overall quarterback prospect in his graduating class.
The 6-foot-4, Lake Mary, Florida native has been a starter since arriving at the high school level, as he’s drawn plenty of interest from Division I programs so far in his recruitment. Ole Miss, Auburn, Colorado, Nebraska, and Arkansas have extended offers to Grubbs over the last month.
The second quarterback the UNC football program offered is one that comes with a very familiar last name for NBA fans.
Dia Bell is a 6-foot-1 quarterback from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He already possesses a ton of high school experience, as he has been a two-year starter while making some appearances during his eighth-grade year at American Heritage High School.
Bell, viewed as the No. 11 overall ranked quarterback in the Class of 2026, is the son of former NBA player Raja Bell. Programs such as Auburn, Florida, Miami, and Penn State have already extended offers to Bell.
As the UNC football program looks for future signal-callers, they have identified both Grubbs and Bell as potential fits within their offensive scheme. We’ll have to wait and see if either one ends up calling Chapel Hill home by the time their recruitment comes to an end.
