Nassir Little arrived in Chapel Hill with high expectations, given that he was the No. 2 overall ranked player in his recruiting class.
Little wasn’t a starter in his lone season with the UNC basketball program, but he was still a big contributor on a Tar Heels team that made a run to the Sweet 16.
North Carolina fans will always remember his highlight-reel plays, as he very often used his above-average athleticism to get the crowd going after throwing down some impressive dunks.
Even though he wasn’t among the team’s starting five, Little still had NBA scouts intrigued by his skillset. He elected to enter the NBA Draft following his freshman season with the UNC basketball program and was selected as the No. 25 overall pick by the Portland Trail Blazers.
