UNC Basketball: Stock risers following the Battle 4 Atlantis
Seth Trimble
Like plenty of others from last year’s roster, Seth Trimble could’ve elected to enter the transfer portal to find more playing time elsewhere.
However, Trimble stuck it out and put the work in to get better, and the early results are showing.
Known for his defensive ability, Trimble has forced his way onto the court because of it. What he’s added to his game, which is a huge boost to the UNC basketball program, is some scoring ability, as he hasn’t been timid to shoot the basketball.
A great example came in the Arkansas game.
Harrison Ingram hit Trimble with a pass for what looked like a wide-open three. Trimble hesitated a bit, which led Ingram to advise his teammate to shoot the ball during the next timeout.
Trimble did just that the next go around, as he went on to finish with a much-needed 12 points in the Tar Heels victory over the Razorbacks.
If he continues to play at this level, Trimble is going to see more minutes among the Tar Heels backcourt, as his development as a player seems to be trending towards rising even more.
