Here are three overreactions following the UNC basketball program’s opening night victory against non-conference foe Radford.

The UNC basketball program got its 2023-2024 season started on a good note, as they secured a double-digit victory over Radford on Monday night in Chapel Hill.

Were the Tar Heels perfect in this one?

No.

In reality, no one should’ve expected them to look flawless. Opening night, brand-new-looking squad (with a majority of newcomers), it’s going to take time to gel.

Plus, Hubert Davis went deep into his bench, as the UNC basketball program is still searching for the right recipe for success.

Game one is officially in the books. Now that we have some actual game footage to go by, here are three overreactions regarding this year’s UNC basketball squad at this point in time.
