Heading into the 2023-2024 college basketball season, we provide our preseason superlatives for this year’s UNC basketball squad.

We are SO close to the start of the UNC basketball program’s season, as the wait to see this new-look squad in a real game is almost over,

Hubert Davis enters his third season at the helm at North Carolina and looks to lead the Tar Heels back to the NCAA Tournament. After missing the tournament a season ago, the Tar Heels had a lot of players depart but replaced that lost talent well via the transfer portal and the incoming freshmen class.

Although a lot of the faces are different, the goal remains the same. The Tar Heels still expect to be the last team standing when it’s all said and done.

Heading into the 2023-2024 season, we decided to have some fun by giving out some superlatives. These are all based on what we think the respective student-athletes will accomplish on the court this upcoming season.
