No. 1: Omarion makes history

Omarion Hampton has been a workhorse for the UNC football program and is on the verge of reaching a personal milestone.

Hampton comes into Saturday’s game needing just 77 yards to eclipse the 1,000-rushing yards mark for a single-season. It will be the first time in his college career that the sophomore will accomplish the feat.

That goal will be reached on Saturday afternoon.

If his last four games are any proof, Hampton should have no trouble breaking that mark this week. His lowest rushing output during that span was 78 yards, as he’s rushed for over 100 yards in each of his last three contests.

Against Campbell, Hampton should have plenty of room to work with, as he’ll continue to prove that he is one of the best running backs in the entire country.
