No. 2: Drake Maye will be better

Drake Maye isn’t all to blame for his season-low completion percentage, but he did, in fact, miss some throws that we’ve grown accustomed to seeing him make.

The drops from wide receivers didn’t help, but we expect Maye will get back on track this upcoming week.

North Carolina’s offense looked out of sync at times, mainly in large part to throwing the football early in downs. If the Tar Heels run game can make third-down situations more manageable, expect North Carolina to be much more successful offensively in this one.

In fact, put me down for Maye throwing for 325 yards and three touchdowns while completing 70% of his passes. The quarterbacks of elite level, like Drake Maye, always find a way to bounce back quickly!
