Cormac Ryan

Ryan will be the “third guard” in the starting lineup, as his three-point shooting and veteran presence should be very beneficial for this Tar Heels team.

His shooting numbers took a hit last season, but this is still a guy who shot 45.4% from the floor (including 40.7% from three-point range) a season prior, so with some open space and some fast-paced play, it’s very possible that Ryan could come close to (or surpass) those numbers in Chapel Hill.

His new Tar Heels teammates often cite his toughness and competitiveness, as he brings an edge that should certainly help the UNC basketball program this season.
