Paxson Wojcik

Of course, the question you’re probably asking (and rightfully so) is, “Where is Elliot Cadeau?!”

RJ Davis gave away the team’s starters from their “secret scrimmage,” citing Wojcik among the first five on the floor. Armando Bacot followed by answering questions about Cadeau, essentially making it seem like the five-star freshman would start the season coming off the bench.

Knowing how Hubert Davis operates, it isn’t surprising to see him electing to roll with the veteran lineup at least to start the game. Davis understands that his freshman point guard will need time to adjust to the college game, as it appears that they’ll try to take some of the pressure off him early on while rolling with a veteran graduate transfer among the team’s starting unit.

Make no mistake- Wojcik isn’t a slouch. Ask Bacot, who spoke very highly of him during the ACC Tipoff event this past week.

He might not be a starting lineup fixture for the entire season, but Paxson Wojcik will be a major contributor regardless.
