UNC Basketball’s projected starting lineup for 2023-2024 season

RJ Davis

Davis will be one of two returning starters for the UNC basketball program, as he should be one of the players that benefit the most from the addition of Cadeau.

Even though he was expected to take over the role of being the Tar Heels’ full-time ball-handler, Davis will now have the opportunity to play more off the ball, which should provide him with more chances to score the basketball. We know that Davis has a knack for putting the ball in the basket, as he could see a lot more open looks given that he won’t necessarily have to facilitate for himself to make that happen.

With this lineup setup, Davis will be the primary ball handler. However, when Hubert Davis goes to his bench, that’s when you should expect the senior guard to play more off the ball, which should help provide him with some better scoring opportunities.
