UNC Football @ Georgia Tech: Location, time, prediction, and more
Mack Brown and the UNC football program will look to get back on track as they head on the road to take on Georgia Tech to continue conference play.
The loss to Virginia happened. Although the UNC football program would love to change the result, they simply can’t.
What they can do, however, is focus on this week’s contest, a rather big one for the program moving forward.
Mack Brown and the Tar Heels hit the road to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in another ACC primetime matchup. North Carolina will be tasked with winning on the road at a place that hasn’t been too friendly to them in the past.
In the long history between the two programs, the UNC football program comes in with an 8-20-1 record when they are the away team against Georgia Tech. Currently holding a two-game losing streak against the Yellow Jackets, the Tar Heels not only look to get back on track against a conference opponent but also look to prove that last week’s loss was a fluke and that they learned from it.
Georgia Tech plays a similar style as Virginia did, as you know the blueprint the Cavaliers laid out will follow the Tar Heels the rest of the way. Although North Carolina did not take advantage of Virginia’s poor run defense, the Yellow Jackets are arguably worse at stopping the run, as Chip Lindsey and company need to “RTDB” in order to be successful.
This game means a lot for the UNC football program, as this is another challenging obstacle that stands in the way of a potential ACC title game berth.
