Over the last few weeks, Josh Downs has proven that NFL teams made a mistake in letting him slide into the third round of the NFL Draft.
The former UNC football star put together a huge performance on Sunday afternoon for the Indianapolis Colts, as he recorded his first 100-yard receiving game of his young career.

Downs’ big performance was highlighted by a 59-yard score early on in the first quarter that got the Colts on the board. He continued to be a steady presence, hauling in an additional five receptions in the high-scoring affair.

Over the last three weeks, Downs has solidified himself as a legitimate option in the Colts’ passing game. Given his recent outings, Downs is on pace to challenge some of the organization’s rookie single-season records.
Through seven games of his NFL career, Josh Downs continues to prove that NFL teams across the league are regretting letting him slide to the No. 79 overall pick in the 2023 draft.
